Framework of the Re-Accreditation Process Web Conference

This training is for those local health departments who are already accredited and are now planning to undergo the Re-Accreditation process.

As you may know, the Accreditation Board decided not to finalize/approve the Re-Accreditation Requirements at their last Board meeting. The Board is hoping to gain more feedback concerning the Re-Accreditation Requirements from locals before they are 'set in stone'. Therefore, this web conference will not focus on the specific Re-Accreditation Requirements as they relate to the HDSAI. The focus of this web conference will be to to discuss briefly the changes that you can expect in the actual process. If you are unfamiliar with the accreditation process, we ask that you familiarize yourself and your staff by viewing the training held on March 24th for health departments preparing for their initial accreditation. The archived web conference may be viewed on the accreditation website on the health department training page.

• It is important that you use Internet Explorer when accessing this recorded training. Firefox or other browsers may cause distortion.
• When you click on the conference link, you will be prompted for some information. Please provide your first and last name, and leave the "Recording Key" box blank. The recording ID is QT4P6R. Now click 'View Recording'.
  
• Next, click the colorful symbol that is next to 'Microsoft Office Live Meeting High-Fidelity Presentation'. This should open the web conference recording. A yellow bar appear at the top of the screen saying that you will need to install ActiveX. Click install and Run if this happens.
• Please ignore the first slide you see which prompts you to dial-in for audio. This was only applicable during the live web conference. Your computer speakers will serve as the audio when viewing the recording.
