Ms. Molly Cannon is a program planner and evaluator at the North Carolina Institute for Public Health (NCIPH).

Ms. Cannon provides program planning and evaluation services to two main projects at NCIPH: the NC Local Health Department Accreditation Program and the NC Public Health Incubator Collaboratives. As part of the Incubator Collaboratives, she also conducts individual program evaluations for each of the six Incubators. In addition, Ms. Cannon works on several grant-funded research projects related to national accreditation and quality improvement.

Ms. Cannon joined NCIPH in 2006. Previously, she worked for the UNC School of Public Health, Department of Health Behavior and Health Education. There, under contract with the Indian Health Service (IHS), she provided technical assistance and evaluation services to American Indian/Alaska Native programs funded through an IHS cooperative agreement. Prior to that, Ms. Cannon was a Provincial Health Advisor in NW Cambodia for an international non-governmental organization, Partners for Development.
She earned her Masters from the UNC School of Public Health in 1999.
