Dr. Mary Davis is a program planner and evaluator at the North Carolina Institute for Public Health (NCIPH). She provides leadership for the Evaluation Unit of NCIPH.

Dr. Davis provides program planning and evaluation services to a number of projects at NCIPH and the University of North Carolina School of Public Health, including several workforce development programs such as the Public Health Leadership Program, the North Carolina Center for Public Health Preparedness, the Center for Genomics and Public Health, and the Certificate Program in Core Public Health Concepts.

Dr. Davis joined NCIPH in 2001. Previously, she worked for the Association of Teachers of Preventive Medicine where she directed several cooperative agreements with federal agencies.

She earned her doctorate from the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health in 1994 and her masters from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1991.
