NCPHA Social Work Section Awards
The NCPHA Social Work Section Awards are awarded each year at the NCPHA Annual Conference and give you an excellent opportunity to recognize the contributions of your co‑workers in public health social work.
Click on the link below for the nomination form. Candidates will be considered for the Outstanding Achievements Award and the Outstanding Contributions to Social Work in Public Health. Selections will be based upon individual merit, personal achievements, and impact on public services in community health.
Criteria
Outstanding Achievements Award: Restricted to current NCPHA SW Section members who have made outstanding achievements in the field of Social Work in Public Health.
Outstanding Contributions to Social Work in Public Health Award: For a person who is not a member of NCPHA Social Work Section. This person must have made significant efforts to advance the cause of Public Health Social Work.
Nominations
Nominations and two letters of support must be submitted prior to the NCPHA Annual Education Conference. Notices are sent out several times each year. If you do not receive a notice, contact your Regional Social Work. Nominations are accepted via US Mail or via Courier. Fax copies will not be accepted.
Awards will be presented during the NCPHA Social Work Section Business/Luncheon Meeting. This is an excellent opportunity to recognize the contributions of your co‑workers in public health social work! The next NCPHA Annual Education Conference will be in Charlotte, NC, September 16-18, 2020 at the Embassy Suites Wilmington and Wilmington Convention Center. |
