Environmental Asthma Triggers: A Training for Public Health Professionals (Healthy Homes, 2)
|Description:||This training was developed for public health professionals, to enable them to help people with asthma in eliminating or reducing the seven most common environmental exposures that can worsen asthma.|
This training has been inactivated. Only users who have completed this training may access it to reprint a certificate of completion. Any users who have not completed the training cannot begin OR resume the training. Please check the training catalog to find other trainings on this topic.
- Explain that asthma is a chronic lung disease that impacts certain susceptible populations and which populations in NC are most likely to have asthma
- Identify common environmental exposures that worsen asthma
- Discuss evidence-based strategies to reduce these environmental exposures and apply steps for removing or reducing these exposures in the home setting
