About the NCIPH Training Website
The North Carolina Institute for Public Health (NCIPH) Training Website was developed to offer public health professionals and other interested persons immediate access to short, high quality trainings on a variety of public health topics. Trainings address core public health and epidemiology competencies, as well as public health preparedness capabilities. Since 2003, the Training Website has grown to serving over 100,000 users from all 50 states and 179 countries. All trainings on this site address one or more required domains for CPH professionals and may be submitted towards CPH recertification requirements.
These trainings are designed to address the most basic level of cognitive learning. They are short knowledge-level trainings that are designed to be completed on-the-job with very little time commitment.
NCIPH, part of the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, serves as a bridge between academia and partners in community organizations and government agencies. NCIPH is a member of the National Network of Public Health Institutes.
Support for our work comes from many sources, including the North Carolina Health and Human Services' Division of Public Health, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, government agencies, foundations and non-profit organizations. Learn more about NCIPH.
